I know we tend to lean to the fun, humorous stories, but as sit here in my bed still wide awake from the three cups of coffee I drank earlier I can't help but think about what Mrs.Folwer said tonight. We are a special class. Thinking back over the last two years of my life I have met some of the dearest people and made some of the best friends I will ever know. The memories have been priceless. standing there tonight looking at Summer with tears in her eyes melted my heart.I Looked around and I thought this will be the only time we all do this together as some will graduate this year and some next. I love Judson, the memories i have made here, the people, and its beloved traditions. Heck I even love pageant now that it is over. LOL. When i was a freshman i didn't understand traditions but i participated because i was continually told that one day i would. well that one day has come in several instances. The first time we sang lean on me on that auditorium stage i knew there was something special to all this. the next was when i stood on that same stage in front of all our classmates and families and took a bow, it was then that i realize we were all a part off something bigger than we could of ever imagined and we had survived. Standing on that stage we shared a closeness that i can not even begin to describe. The most recent appreciation for traditions came tonight. I can not describe the feeling i got as i walked across the seal in my cap and gown, but i can this i hope you all felt the same bitter sweet accomplished feeling i got. i expect more of these feeling and moments will come this year with our seniorhood and i can't wait to share them with you. I guess the point of this rambling post is to say thank you Judson sisters. Thank you for loving Judson the way Judson deserves to be love. thank for all the good times and the bad, for they have truly changed me. There is a song in the musical Wicked that says it best.
I've heard it said
That people come into our lives for a reason
Bringing something we must learn
And we are led
To those who help us most to grow
If we let them
And we help them in return
Well, I don't know if I believe that's true
But I know I'm who I am today
Because I knew you..
So thank you for allowing me to know you and share our time and memories together. I have a love, adoration, and admiration for you all and wish you the best in our year to come. I'm sure it will bring many more shared memories into our hearts that we will forever cherish and fondly remember in years to come.
Goodnight sweet dreams
P.S. forgive the errors......it's late
